Black Knight Patrol hires only the most qualified candidates, including military veterans and former law enforcement officers. At Black Knight Patrol, we believe in quality over quantity, which is why we pay our officers above industry average.  

We meet with clients regularly to keep them informed, and listen to any concerns or problems they may be experiencing. Each client is assigned an account manager, whom they can contact anytime they have a question about what's happening on their property.

Manuel “Manny” Jimenez is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Black Knight Patrol. Manny enrolled in the LAPD Harbor Division Cadet program at the age of 14 and continued in the program till the age of 18. Through the cadet program, he had his first introduction to law enforcement and security. He found a sense of purpose and camaraderie with his fellow cadets. Through his high school years, Manny was introduced to community service. He fulfilled many hours volunteering and giving back supporting the community that supported him. Taking his level of commitment and support to the next level, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and was an active Marine for four years and served in the Reserve Component for another 4 years. Manny is a graduate of the Riverside County Sheriff's Academy and maintains his Level 1 P.O.S.T. Certification. In recognition of Manny's contributions to the Security Industry, he was selected in 2021 to serve on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies, Guards & Associates. In an effort to make the training that all BKP officers go through accessible to the rest of the security industry, Manny founded Harbor Area Security Training in 2021. In addition to the Training Facility, Manny founded Semper Uniforms to provide quality equipment at an affordable rate to Law Enforcement & Security alike. Manuel was re-elected to the CALSAGA Board of Directors in 2022.

COL Edward "Ed" Salaz, USA, (Ret.)

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Under the Direction of the Qualified Manager, Mr. Ed Salaz serves as the Deputy CEO for Black Knight Patrol providing strategic direction and overseeing organizational efforts aimed at sustaining steady company growth and process improvement. Mr. Salaz leads government and commercial industry partnership actions at both the local and regional levels.  

Dr. Brian Juckett

Dr. Juckett retired from the Gardena Police Department as a sergeant supervising their crime suppression unit, K-9, and SWAT team. He was employed by the Gardena Police Department for 37 years, 32 years as a police officer/sergeant. He received his Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the Northcentral University in February 2016. He also holds a Master degree and Bachelor degree in Emergency Management from California State University-Long Beach. Brian is a BSIS Certified Baton and Firearms Instructor, as well as Taser. In addition to overseeing all BSIS Compliance Training for BKP, Dr. Juckett is also an instructor for Harbor Area Security Training.

Joseph Kealii Kalehuawehe

Under the direction of the Qualified Manager, Joseph Kealii Kalehuawehe  leads the day to day operations amongst multiple counties including Los Angeles, Ventura, and San Bernardino Counties. Joey has a strong background in Business and Sports Administration, having worked with one of the nation’s leading wholesale beverage alcohol distributors, specializing in wine and spirits.  He has served in numerous roles within Sales, Account Management, Training, Operations and ending with a defined leadership role managing teams in CA, AZ, and Hawaii.  Joseph Kealii is a native of Oahu, Hawaii and has worked with organizations including the Honolulu Police Department, Los Angeles Police Department, University of Hawaii Manoa, University of Southern California, California Community Colleges,  City of Parks and Recreation and Cranio Care Bears, a health related awareness company for young infants. 

Christopher Payne

Director of Metro Services & Marketing

Mr. Christopher Payne currently serves as the Director of Metro Services & Marketing for Black Knight Patrol Inc. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of Operations, Development & Compliance for a high profile account with LA County MTA. In addition to the MTA account, Chris oversees all Marketing for Black Knight Patrol Inc., Harbor Area Security Training and Semper Uniforms, LLC.

Chris has over 10 years of security experience, previously serving as a Field Operations Supervisor at Cal & Cal Private Protection.

Rosie Jackson

Rosie Jackson currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Black Knight Patrol Inc. Rosie has over 13 years of Accounting experience and 5 years of Human Resources experience. Rosie holds degrees in Political Science, Public Administration, and Business. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Public Administration. Rosie is the first female "C" level executive in BKP's History.

Ken Hawkes

Director of Protective Services

Ken Hawkes serves as the Director of Protective Services overseeing our Executive Protection and Explosives Detection K9 units. Prior to BKP, Ken served as a Lieutenant for the Los Angeles Port Police with a career spanning over 30 years. Ken worked a variety of assignments for the Port Police including Field Training, Marine Enforcement, and Tactical Planning. Before transferring to Port Police, Ken was an officer for the Los Angeles Airport Police. At the airport, Ken worked assignments that included patrol, ground transportation enforcement, crime suppression undercover unit, and the Training Division.
